Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DashLabs by MR Analytics Hub ("DashLabs", "we", "us", "our"), accessible at dashlabs.mranalyticshub.com and mranalyticshub.com. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

MR Analytics Hub is operated by MR Analytics Hub Limited.

1. Service description

DashLabs is a software-as-a-service platform that enables users to upload data files, generate interactive business intelligence dashboards using AI-powered analysis, and interact with their data through an AI assistant. The service includes a free dashboard builder and paid subscription tiers ("InsightEngine", "InsightEngine Business") that unlock additional features including persistent storage, editing, and AI assistant access.

2. Account registration

To access paid features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services.

3. Subscription and payment

DashLabs offers the following subscription tiers:

  • InsightEngine Free Trial — Free for 14 days with limited features. No payment information required.
  • InsightEngine — £19.99 per month, billed monthly.
  • InsightEngine Business — £99.99 per month, billed monthly.

All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

4. Free trial

New users may access a 14-day free trial with limited usage. No payment information is required for the trial. At the end of the trial period, your account will be restricted until you subscribe to a paid plan. Dashboards created during the trial will be retained for 30 days after trial expiry, after which they may be deleted.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After expiry, your dashboards will be set to read-only for 30 days.
  • After 30 days of inactivity, your data and dashboards may be permanently deleted.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge.

6. Your data and uploads

Important — Do not upload personal or sensitive data. DashLabs is designed for business analytics data such as sales figures, financial metrics, operational data, and performance statistics. You must not upload data containing personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, national insurance numbers, health records, or any data that could identify individuals. You are solely responsible for ensuring your uploaded data complies with applicable data protection laws.

You retain full ownership of any data you upload to DashLabs. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. By uploading data, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and analyse it solely for the purpose of providing the DashLabs service to you.

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure in the europe-west2 (London) region. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload data containing personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive personal data.
  • Upload data you do not have the right to use or that infringes third-party rights.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or accounts.
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to excessively access the service or circumvent usage limits.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without our written permission.
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the service's security or infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

8. AI-generated content

DashLabs uses artificial intelligence to generate dashboard layouts, chart configurations, and analytical insights. AI-generated content is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate recommendations. You should always verify AI-generated insights before making business decisions based on them.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated analysis or recommendations.

9. Service availability and modifications

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, deploy updates, or modify features at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and offer data export functionality.

10. Usage limits

Each subscription tier includes specific limits on the number of saved dashboards, monthly AI assistant prompts, and total data storage. These limits are detailed on our pricing page and enforced automatically. Exceeding limits will restrict certain features until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.

11. Intellectual property

The DashLabs platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by MR Analytics Hub and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.

Dashboards you create and the insights derived from your data belong to you. The underlying technology, algorithms, and AI models used to generate them remain our property.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • DashLabs is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or error-free.
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.
  • We are not liable for any losses resulting from business decisions made based on AI-generated insights or dashboard content.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MR Analytics Hub from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your upload of data that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable laws.

14. Data deletion

You may delete individual dashboards and their associated data at any time through the DashLabs interface. Upon account deletion or subscription cancellation beyond the grace period, we will delete your data within 90 days. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to an additional 30 days before permanent deletion.

15. Third-party services

DashLabs integrates with third-party services including Google Cloud Platform (infrastructure), Stripe (payments), and AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) for analysis. Your use of the service is also subject to these providers' terms. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
